ELP in Nasha Mukti Kendra
About the Event
Youth Engagement at the De-Addiction Centre, Dhamtari is a 5-day Experiential Learning Program (ELP) for youth aged 18–29 years. The program aims to help young volunteers understand the journey of recovery from substance abuse while building meaningful connections with the residents of the De-Addiction Centre through interaction, empathy, and shared experiences. During the program, participants will engage in awareness sessions, motivational conversations, recreational and creative activities, group discussions, and community engagement. These activities are designed to foster empathy, social responsibility, mental health awareness, and a positive attitude toward building a drug-free society. The program provides a platform for mutual learning, where youth gain valuable life lessons on resilience, recovery, and compassion, while the residents experience encouragement, social connection, and a renewed sense of confidence through meaningful engagement with young volunteers.
